These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Mingo, a mobile dating app operated by PGMotive.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Mingo, you agree to these Terms and the Mingo Privacy Policy.

1. The Mingo service

Mingo provides dating-related features such as account creation, user profiles, discovery, preferences, location-based matching, swipes, matches, messaging, profile photos, user reports, blocking tools, notifications, and account deletion. Features may change over time.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Mingo.
  • You must be legally allowed to use a dating service in your location.
  • You may not use Mingo if you are prohibited from doing so by law or by a prior account restriction.
  • You must provide accurate account, age, and profile information.

We may suspend or delete accounts that appear to be underage, fraudulent, unsafe, impersonating another person, or otherwise ineligible.

3. Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Dating safety

Mingo does not conduct criminal background checks on every user and does not guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct, or compatibility of any user. You are responsible for using good judgment when interacting with other users online or in person.

  • Keep early conversations inside the app when possible.
  • Do not send money, financial details, passwords, or identity documents to other users.
  • Meet in public places and tell someone you trust when meeting someone in person.
  • Use Mingo's report and block tools when something feels unsafe or violates these Terms.

5. User content

You are responsible for the profile information, photos, messages, reports, and other content you submit through Mingo. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant PGMotive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, moderate, modify for technical formatting, and otherwise use your content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and enforce Mingo.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate the law, another person's rights, or these Terms.

6. Prohibited conduct

  • Do not use Mingo if you are under 18 or misrepresent your age.
  • Do not impersonate another person, create fake profiles, or provide deceptive information.
  • Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, exploit, shame, or harm another user.
  • Do not post or send non-consensual sexual content, explicit nudity, illegal sexual content, sexual exploitation, or content involving minors.
  • Do not promote hate, violence, self-harm, terrorism, weapons misuse, drug abuse, or illegal activity.
  • Do not use Mingo for prostitution, trafficking, escort services, commercial sexual services, scams, spam, advertising, or solicitation.
  • Do not upload malware or attempt to scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, overload, bypass, or interfere with Mingo's systems.
  • Do not evade bans, rate limits, moderation decisions, blocks, verification controls, or security restrictions.

7. Photos, messages, and moderation

Profile photos may be automatically reviewed and may also be manually reviewed. Mingo may reject, hide, or remove photos that appear explicit, unsafe, deceptive, involve minors, lack a visible human face where required, or otherwise violate these Terms.

Mingo may review reports, blocks, messages, photos, profiles, account activity, and related records when needed to investigate violations, protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or maintain service integrity.

8. Reports and blocking

You can block or report other users in Mingo. Reports may include reason codes such as fake profile, inappropriate content, harassment, spam or scam, underage user, hate speech, or other safety concerns. Submitting false, abusive, or bad-faith reports may result in account action.

9. Rewards, experimental features, and payments

Mingo may include credits, boosts, super likes, rewind, travel mode, incognito, daily missions, or similar feature state. These features may be changed, limited, revoked, paused, or discontinued. The current v1 codebase disables advertising and in-app purchase surfaces unless PGMotive reintroduces them later with updated disclosures.

10. Service communications

We may send you account, security, deletion, moderation, match, message, and service notifications by email, push notification, or in-app notice. You can manage push permissions through your device settings, but some account or security notices may still be necessary.

11. Account deletion

You may delete your Mingo account from inside the app or through the external account deletion page at https://pgmotive.com/mingo/delete-account. Deletion is permanent after confirmation and may remove or anonymize your account, profile, photos, preferences, device tokens, rewards state, and associated personal data, subject to limited retention described in the Mingo Privacy Policy.

12. Account suspension or termination

PGMotive may suspend, restrict, remove content from, or terminate accounts at any time if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created risk for others, abused the service, attempted to bypass controls, or if action is required by law or platform policy.

13. Intellectual property

Mingo, PGMotive, related software, design, logos, branding, text, and service materials are owned by PGMotive or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use PGMotive branding or intellectual property except as necessary to use Mingo normally.

14. Third-party services

Mingo depends on third-party providers such as Supabase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Gemini, email providers, app stores, device operating systems, and hosting or infrastructure providers. PGMotive is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

15. No guarantees

Mingo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that Mingo will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every risk, or that matches, conversations, or in-person interactions will meet your expectations.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PGMotive and its affiliates, owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to Mingo.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify PGMotive from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Mingo, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights or applicable law.

18. Changes to Mingo or these Terms

We may update, suspend, discontinue, or change Mingo features. We may also update these Terms. Each published version will identify its effective date, last updated date, and version number on this page.

For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through Mingo, by email, or through another appropriate method when required. We may ask you to review and accept updated Terms before continuing to use Mingo when the nature of the change or applicable law requires renewed acceptance. Changes take effect on the stated effective date.
